Changing personal history is an NLP intervention that can be done with oneself or with another person. This is a powerful exercise wherein a person (usually in a trance state) revisits a traumatic experience of the past, and then through anchoring, a bad decision or experience is replaced with a good decision or experience and anchored. Then future pacing determines whether this change in the remembered experience is OK.
